Summary: This Article say that the Department of the Interior has frozen oil and gas development on 60 of 70 contested drilling sites in Utah. And in January a federlized judge blocked drilling in the ground that the department ahs failed to follow there own procedures for gas and oil extraction. A interior department review team presented Ken Salazar with a recomendation that the drilling be allowed to continue on the 17 of 77 parcels. The leases on the 8 of the parcels should be withdrawn and rhe othoer ones should be subjected for further studying of the possible negative effects that it has a on wildlife, air and water quality
Crituque: i think this article had too much uneccecary information in it. it was quite long and some of it didn't make any sense to me. so i would give thios article ** stars. i really didn't knwo what to write about. the author of the article was good to put all that information in there but i think he put a little too much.
